Mayr-Melnhof Rundholzhandel GmbH (MMR) organises the total volume of the logs required for the two largest wood processing companies in Styria in their respective segments - Mayr-Melnhof and Schaffer.

Top priority of MMR is to make use of and to place more emphasis on the field of excellence ‘Wood’ in Styria. More and more calamities caused by climate change as well as increasingly difficult market conditions in Europe have an impact also on the timber industry.

Therefore, our challenges are the local raw material markets and international sawn timber markets. It is important to us to create a local network of forest owners, service providers and wood processing companies and to ensure a professional cooperation.
